About the course:

 The IADC WellCAP® Drilling Well Control Certification course addresses basic principles and theories of well control. It provides practical well control skills by presenting the most commonly used well control techniques through hands-on simulations exercises. 

Course content:

Pressure Concepts, Kick Theory, Causes & Detection of Kicks, Kick Warning Signs, Complications and Special Situations, Shut-in Procedures, Fluids, Killsheets, BOP Equipment, Constant Bottomhole Pressure Methods, Regulations, Subsea (if requested), Stripping and a brief discussion on Snubbing.
